Sally was born in Kouts, Indiana on July 23, 1934. Her parents died when she was young. Her new life started when she was adopted by her beloved parents, Henry and Ruth Stiles in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from Broad Ripple High School and attended Hanover College, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and met her future husband.

Sally was married to Irwin Lodge “Bud” Bunton in the Prentice Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis on September 18, 1955. They were married for 60 years!

Sally and Bud lived in Madison, Indiana for a couple years and then moved to New Castle, Indiana. They lived there for 37 years and co-owned Jan’s Hallmark Center, The Front Porch women’s clothing store and B & B Shoes family shoe stores with locations around Indiana. They retired and moved back to Madison, Indiana for 17 years before moving to Powell, Ohio to be near family. She loved spending the winters in their Fort Myers, Florida home.

Sally cherished the many adventures and friends they made during their motor home travels around the country. She was very active in the P.E.O. Sisterhood. She served in many capacities, including Indiana State Chapter President. In Indiana, she was a member of CG in New Castle and DL in Madison. What dear sisters she enjoyed in the Fort Myers P.E.O. group. Her current chapter EU in Dublin, OH will miss her wise and thoughtful advice, warm smile and silly poems. She was a member of Liberty Presbyterian Church in Delaware, Ohio.
