Obituary

Pamela Jane Thacker (Simpson), age 61, lost her short courageous battle with cancer on August 21, 2017 and left a hole in the hearts of her four children that loved her dearly. She was born September 25, 1955 daughter of late Harry Raymond Simpson of Lima, Ohio and Mary Louise Simpson (Mac Donald) of Columbus, Ohio.   She is survived by her children, Ronnie (Kristen) Lee Grubb, Jr., Tami (Christy) Louise Grubb, Scott (Julia) Allen Grubb, and Danyel Frances Bosworth.   Pamela also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, Justin Grubb, Tamra Hartig, Jordan Grubb, Shane Grubb (Jessica), Jacob Grubb (Brunna), Carey Bosworth , Seth Bosworth , Amber Grubb, Austin Bosworth  , Lance Grubb and Jonah Grubb; 3 Great Grandchildren, Nailee Grubb , Brylee Grubb and Grayson Grubb; siblings, sister, Anne Erickson (James) of Greenbay, WI, brother, Harry R. Simpson III (Celia) of Greenbay, WI, and sister, Diane Louise Simpson of Ashgrove, MO.; several nieces and nephews; Last but not least her beloved furry companion, Faith, who will miss her human dearly. She is preceded in death by parents; grandparents, Donald and Rachel Jane MacDonald; and grandmother, Maude Simpson, brother, Donnie Simpson, and the beloved father of her children Ronnie Lee Grubb Sr.  Pamela was a sweet and loving person and when she loved you she loved you with all she had. She was definitely one of a kind. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loving her grandchildren.  A special thank you to Jennifer Long for being there for our mother from diagnosis until her last breath. Your love and compassion that you have for our mother and our family is genuine!  We would like to thank all the Doctors and Nurses at Hospice of Central Ohio for taking such good care of our mother in her final days — your compassion does not go unnoticed!  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, in Pamela’s name https://hospiceofcentralohio.org.   A private memorial service will be scheduled at a later date
