Dan, I was a little late to this party, as usual. You will always be a positive influence in my life, I only wish I had re-connected with you sooner. You were a great guy. Thank you!

I am missing Dan's easy and hearty laugh. He told me he always kept love at his core. Dan's passing was too soon and too sudden. I am chagrined that I felt there would always be another day to connect and let him know I appreciated our connection and shared perspectives. He was a true friend. I deeply miss him. This is a terrible loss for Lori and family. My heart is with you. Please remember to reach out to all that love you for support and assistance.

Dan touched my life in so many ways. I still hear his voice so strong in my ear and am thankful to have had the chance to know him. He was the big brother I never had, the good father I hoped I'd be, and the mentor I needed. He is gone from this world too soon indeed. My heart goes out to Lori and the kids. I wish I could find the words.

There really are no words to share that can express the loss I and probably (sorry I probably should not speak for other but figure most feel the same) all the people in Dan's life fell right now. It is times like this that keep me up at night contemplating what the heck is this all about? There is no going back and I miss this man. Perhaps the good do die young. He sure did. Way too young. But this is life and we must go on. It's up to us to carry on with the same spirit Dan shared. I send love to all that knew Dan and hope his love of life can be shared by all of us to those that need it.

Praying for peace for all who loved Dan, especially Lori, the kids, and Pete. I'm going to miss you, compadre.
