Anita Theolyn (Johnson) Snyder

Anita Theolyn (Johnson) Snyder, 82, passed away on June 24, 2018, at her home in Delaware, Ohio after a prolonged illness. Born January 11, 1936 in Houston, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Clarence “Foxy” and Anna (Tolefson) Johnson.  Anita worked in retail accounting for several organizations in the Columbus, Ohio region before her retirement.

Self-proclaimed number one Buckeye fan, friend to everyone she met and much beloved, Anita will be dearly missed and is survived by her children; daughter, Anastasia (Stacy) Watkinson; son and daughter-in-law Jason and Cheri Snyder; son and daughter-in-law, Robin and Diana Snyder; grandchildren, John, Joey and Andrew Snyder; sister-in-law, Bonnie Johnson; nephew and wife, Kurt and Barb Johnson; nephew and wife, Tom and Barb Johnson; numerous extended family members and devoted friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Charles.

A private cremation will be held this week, per Anita’s wishes.  An open house to celebrate her life will be held at the Acton Hall of Ascension Lutheran Church on Saturday, July 28, from 11.30am to 2.30pm.  Food will be served, casual dress please.  Memorials to honor Anita’s life with donations to the National Hospice Foundation at www.nationalhospicefoundation.org.  Please visit (https://buckeyecremation.com/obituary/anita-theolyn-johnson-snyder/) to share a favorite memory or send a condolence.
