Lorna Marie Peters, 60, of Columbus, OH passed away on February 18th peacefully with her children by her side. Lorna was born in Lorain, Oh to the late Edward J Waldecki and Marie (Dyczkowski) Waldecki. She worked for Sam’s Club and Home Depot for the last 10 years, where she made some long lasting friendships. Lorna enjoyed shopping, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She loved spending time in front of any body of water whether it was the pool or the beach, but she was the happiest anytime she could relax in the sun. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Edward and Marie Waldecki and her husband Richard Peters. Lorna is survived by her children, Mathew (Amy) Peters, Jennifer (Josh) Yee, Joanne Wright, her grandchildren Mathew II, Katelynn, Jacob, Brice, and Julianna, and her loving siblings Ralph, Beverly, Karla, and Christine. A Celebration of Life will be held later this year. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to the American Cancer Society.
