Robert Scott Hakes, 74, of Commercial Point, OH, passed away on February 3, 2021 at Mount Carmel Grove City hospital. Bob was born in Columbus Ohio to Eugene and Pauline Hakes on 12/25/46. He married Darlene Johnson on 10/19/1974, in Commercial Point, Ohio. He worked for the U.S Government for 38 years. He served in the Air Force in Minot, North Dakota for 4 years. He was a history buff who had a love for his family, antique toys and anything car related. Bob is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Pauline Hakes.
Bob is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dolly (Johnson) Hakes, his Children Robin (Kenny) Hornsby, Robert Jr. (Dawn) Hakes; Scott (Tara) Hakes; Jason and Adam Hakes. His Brother Bill (Lois) and his sister Karen (Jack) Schuh and 6 grandchildren. A celebration of life will be scheduled for this summer. .
