Terry Lynn Zorn, 70, of Columbus, passed away suddenly Wednesday morning, June 17, 2020 at his residence, two days before his 71st birthday. Terry was born in Dennison, Ohio, on June 19, 1949 to Robert and Wanda (Hollingsworth) Zorn. He attended Tuscarawas-Warwick High School, graduating in 1967. When Terry was younger, he helped with his parent’s greenhouses in Tuscarawas. In his adult years, he and his wife, Ruth, owned a floral shop in Plain City. Terry always had a garden, whether it was a very large backyard garden or tomatoes in a container on his apartment patio. He liked to keep his hands in the dirt, always growing food for his family and friends. He worked for Timken Steel in Akron and, later, for Farbest Brands in Plain City, before retiring in 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Ruth Zorn, his daughter, Kristi Marie Zorn, his sister, Jane Ann Reichman, and brother-in-law, Larry Falcone. Terry is survived by his current wife, Jane Zorn, son, David (Leisa) Zorn, daughter, Tera (Nicholas) Kelner, and grandsons, Dustin (Courtney) Zorn, Zachary Zorn, and other extended family. Terry was a member of Sharon Moravian Church in New Philadelphia, Ohio, for most of his life. Later in life, he joined the Crossing Community Church in Hilliard, Ohio. Terry will be laid to rest alongside his wife, Ruth, his daughter, and his parents at a private family graveside service on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at the Sharon Moravian Church Cemetery, in Tuscarawas, Ohio. There will be a Memorial Service held for Terry at Crossing Community Church in Hilliard, Ohio, on August 8. Because of Covid, if anyone is interested in attending, please contact Rachel at the church, (614) 451-4500.
