October 28, 1988 - April 18, 2020


Gregory Martin Mehrle, age 31, of Columbus, Ohio, has gone to be with The Lord on April 18, 2020. He was born on October 28, 1988 in Columbus to Rose M. Clay and John G. Mehrle.

Gregory lived in Marysville later moved to Gahanna where he graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School in 2007. He met his loving wife Brooke in 2007. Gregory enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved doing things outdoors, such as grilling out for his family and friends, fishing, and camping. He was always happy listening to music. Gregory took great pride in finishing any tasks and he was excellent with his hands and happy to be busy. He also enjoyed his love for motorcycles. Gregory spent time proudly rebuilding his motorcycle. He was pursuing a career in Masonry. Gregory had a very genuine personality and will be lovingly and sadly missed by many.

Gregory was preceded in death by, His paternal grandfather, John F. Mehrle.

Gregory will be greatly missed by his loving wife Elizabeth Brooke Mehrle; and his precious twin sons, Cason Gregory and Miles Martin; step-children, Alayna Underwood and Jackson Underwood; parents, Rose (Brett) Clay and John G. Mehrle; brothers, John Mehrle and Ronald Mehrle ; step-siblings, Felecia (Nathan) Jones, Quinten Clay, and Sierra Clay; his loving maternal and paternal grandparents, Ronald K. and Mary Ann Martin and Joyce Mehrle; his wife’s parents, Carolyn Shahade and Richard Underwood; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

There will be a memorial scheduled after the Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
