Christopher B. Clark

December 22, 1971 - December 22, 2019

Christopher Brett Clark, age 48 of Columbus, Ohio was called home to Heaven on December 22, 2019 after a long courageous battle with osteosarcoma.  Christopher was born on December 22, 1971 in Columbus, OH to Gerald Clark and Carol Duncan.  Chris is a 1990 graduate of Northland High School.  He was active in football and wrestling.  Chris worked as a talented IT technician at Sophisticated Systems, supporting Bruner and BCI communications.  Chris is preceded in death by his father; Gerald, step-mother; Beverly, sister; Michelle Clark, and several grandparents.  Chris devoted his life to caring and providing for his wife and 2 girls whom he adored.  He had a larger than life personality and did not know a stranger due to his compassion for other people.  He spent 3 years in the United States Army driving tanks while he was stationed in Germany.  Chris touched many lives with his warm, caring, sarcastic personality.  He had an uncanny ability to make people laugh.  He was always willing to fix any computer problems or give you the “shirt off his back” for anyone in need.  His kindness and empathetic spirit was a one of a kind trait that will live on in the lives he touched.  He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.  He is survived by his wife Stacey, daughters Maggie and Hannah Clark, and mother Carol (Ron Curtis) Duncan, his siblings Roger (Alana) Clark, Tracey Lucas and Kimberly (Mick) Leighner and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  There will be a celebration of life in Chris’ honor at Dave and Busters, 3665 Park Mill Run Dr. Hilliard, OH 43026 on January 11, 2020 from 1 pm to 3 pm.  Please come and party with us in his memory.  There will be room for all.  The family encourage all who attend to wear flannel, jeans or Cleveland Browns attire in honor of Chris.    In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kobacker House Hospice or The James Cancer Hospital, Columbus Ohio.

Praying and thinking of his family and friends. Sending love and hugs. I love that boy, well he’s a boy to me. So many memories of Chris and not even enough room to write. Broke my heart when he lost his battle. I will never forget him. He was one of my sons friends that would be at our home. Called me mom. Bless him and his family.

The world lost a kind soul December 22. He was a wonderful man, husband and father. It’s been awhile since I had saw them and I’m saddened by the fact I wasn’t able to come in and visit. He will be missed dearly by all. God bless you all and I pray your grieving process will be accompanied by the Holy Spirit.
