Michael Paul Johnson

February 16, 1984 - February 13, 2019

Michael “Mikey” Paul Johnson, age 34 of Galloway, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. He was raised on Catawba Island by his grandparents, Ann and William Johnson, who precede him in death.  He loved hunting and the outdoors. He will be remembered as an expert on everything, who was always willing to help anyone in need. He is survived by his wife, Heather Johnson; children, William Johnson and Gwendolyn Karwatka; stepsons, Dalton and Nolan Laird; mother, Kathy Hickman; sister, Kaitlynn (Eric) Budge; aunt, Tracy Burke; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rhonda and Robert Puckett; many other relative and friends.  All services are to be private.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to American Society for Suicide Prevention,, in his memory.

I got to know Mike through work. Always thought of him as a great guy and fellow good co-worker. Was invited to come hang out, run a kayak down Little Darby from his back yard ! Wished I could have made it and possibly helped to change his course. 110% as kind a person as said. So very sorry. Hope you all heal well. Mike Leyshon

Mikey will be missed by all of us at the Sandusky Bay Duck Club. Always fun to hunt with and eager to help. We will miss the good times with him and our prayers go to his family. Our hearts are with you.

I will never forget the good times we had growing up together and the trips we took and walking on the beach of Jacksonville Florida. I will miss you bro you will never be forgotten. So sorry for your loss. Mikey had a very kind and giving heart and sole. He was a hard worker and always wanted to help. He was always fun to joke around with especially when it came to OSU vs Mich especially the last 12 or 13 years. Hopefully he found the peace he needed
